It is situated in Pondicherry to Cuddalore road at about 8kms from Pondicherry. Chunnambar, is like backwaters in Kerala. You can access Paradise beach by a boat from Chunnambar and the boat service is available till 4 PM.
We were really excited to go to beach but the ticket counter was closed for beach, they open only till 4pm. we got just 5mins late so missed the opportunity to go to beach. But still they said we can go for a 20mins backwater boat ride. Atlast we bought the tickets for the backwater ride. It was really amazing. Enjoyed it.
